Who I am

Engineer.Tutor.Mentor.

I’m Majeed, founder of TripleMTuition and an experienced private tutor with over five years of teaching experience supporting students across GCSE subjects and A-Level Maths.

My tutoring journey began in spring 2021 during lockdown. What started as an opportunity to work virtually quickly developed into a genuine passion for teaching. Through experience with established tuition companies, I developed my teaching style: structured lessons, clear explanations, patience, and the ability to adapt to each student. This also allows me to give parents a clear understanding of their child’s progress.

Alongside tutoring, I hold a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Brighton, where I achieved a 2:1, and work as an engineer within the nuclear sector. My academic and professional experience brings a fresh, real-world perspective to lessons, particularly in Maths and Physics.

What matters in a lesson

  • Clear explanations without rushing.
  • Practice that connects to the exam.
  • A student who knows what to do next.

My tutoring journey began in the spring of 2021, during lockdown. What initially started as an opportunity to work virtually quickly developed into a genuine passion for teaching. My ability to explain mathematical problems first developed during my childhood, when I would regularly help my little brother with his Maths. Through the skills and experience I gained working with established tuition companies during my formative years as a tutor, I developed the foundations of my teaching style: structured lessons, clear explanations, patience, and the ability to adapt to the individual student. This structured methodology also allows me to provide parents with a clear understanding of their child’s progress.

Alongside my tutoring career, I hold a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Brighton, where I achieved a 2:1, and I now work as a young engineer within the nuclear sector. My academic and professional engineering experience allows me to bring a fresh, real-world perspective into my lessons, particularly within Maths and Physics. This helps students understand not only how to answer a question, but also why the concepts they are learning matter beyond the classroom.

Above all, the best part of being a tutor is receiving a call or message from a student on results day to tell me they have achieved the grade they wanted, allowing them to take the next step in their academic journey. Realising that I was able to motivate, encourage, and educate a student before seeing them achieve their desired grade is the clearest indication that I have done my job. I aim not only to support my students academically, but also to help them develop confidence, independence, and the intrinsic motivation to succeed.

Having worked with other tuition companies during my formative years as a tutor, I understand some of the issues that can arise: a lack of personal connection, restrictive contracts, and students sometimes feeling like just another number. That ends here. My approach is simple: high energy, constant engagement, and total patience. I aim to create a safe space to learn, ask questions, make mistakes, and talk about what’s actually going on.

Five years after teaching my first online lesson, I am more passionate about tutoring than I have ever been. TripleMTuition represents everything I have learned throughout my teaching career: the importance of understanding the individual, building genuine confidence, and giving students the motivation and support needed to reach their potential.

My aim is simple: to help students become more confident, capable, and independent learners, and to show them that with the right support, structure, and encouragement, they are capable of far more than they may initially believe.
